Bob Blumer, Food Networks Surreal Gourmet

Gastronaut, artist and seven time Guinness World Record holder Bob Blumer is the creator and host of the television series Surreal Gourmet, and Glutton for Punishment, and host ofWorld’s Weirdest Restaurants. His shows air in over twenty countries world-wide.

Blumer transforms ordinary ingredients into wow-inspiring dishes through simple cooking methods and whimsical presentations that have become his culinary trademark. He is the author of five acclaimed cookbooks and is co-author of the best-selling Pizza on the Grill (just released in it’s second edition). Publishers Weekly summed up his most recent book Glutton for Pleasure as: “equal parts memoir, lavish art book, multi-genre soundtrack and culinary tour de force."

Bob is an ambassador for Toronto’s Second Harvest and an active shareholder in Victoria Gin. In 2013 he returned to his artistic roots, creating a show of  25 surreal  wine glasses and decanters that he exhibited in Napa, CA, and designing a Surreal  Gourmet Suite for Toronto’s legendary Gladstone Hotel. When he is not traveling for work or pleasure—which is most of the time—the transplanted Canadian cycles daily in the canyons near his home in the  Hollywood Hills, doing his best to stay in shape for his next big adventure.

  

John Catucci, Food Network's You Gotta Eat Here

Toronto Taste Chef Challenge Co-Host

John Catucci may not be a chef, but he knows a great burger when he eats one!  A talented comedian, actor, and TV personality John currently hosts the hit show, You Gotta Eat Here! airing it's fifth (5th!) season at the Food Network.

A born entertainer, John's electric charisma coupled with his wealth of performing experience has garnered him renowned praise for his live, corporate, and TV appearances. Some of John's film and television credits include The Tuxedo,  starring Jackie Chan, Toronto 1's The Toronto Show, CBC's To Die Four and The Sean Cullen Show, the feature film First Time Caller, The Comedy Network's  Liocracy, and ABC's Movie of the Week Kiss My Act.

John has guest starred a number of times on Global TV's Train 48, was a series regular on the CBC children's show The Doodlebops, as well as a lead in The Comedy Network original series Punched Up.

Michelle Jobin, TV Host & Producer

Toronto Taste Chef Challenge Co-Host

Michelle Jobin is a TV host, producer and writer based in Toronto with a passion for food and living well. Her work has been featured on networks across Canada and around the world over the past decade on networks including Global Television, CTV, MTV Canada, H2, and The Weather Network and more. Career highlights include several years of interviewing celebrities Toronto International Film Festival for eOne Films, and hosting and producing Toronto Dining, a show devoted to the diverse food scene in Canada’s largest city that was truly a labour of love.

Michelle has recently appeared as a lifestyle and fitness network on programs such as Cityline, CP24 Breakfast, and CH Morning Live. She contributes content on food and wine, fitness and travel in a number of online publications including CBC Life and Post City Online.
